Formed in January 2004 Carter (no, not as in the
‘Unstoppable’) is a quartet from Berkshire who play a rare kind of groove laden
acoustic music that can, with confidence, be described as ‘British Soul’.
The band is:
Samantha Carter - vocals
David Gray - guitar and backing vocals
Lawrie Wright - double bass and backing vocals
Hamish Stewart - percussion
